Poetry and Projective Geometry
This project is an interdisciplinary research gathering exploring the relationship between poetry and projective geometry. The goal is to investigate how language can be understood as a spatial and temporal phenomenon, revealing connections between the structure of words, human consciousness, and the mathematical principles of space and infinity. Drawing on thinkers like Owen Barfield and Rudolf Steiner, the project aims to develop a new “spiritual-scientific” methodology of communication that unites literary, mathematical, and artistic disciplines. Funding will primarily provide travel stipends for participating youth collaborators. The initiative includes forming a small working group, producing diagrammatic visual art and poetry, and hosting a research symposium in 2026. Ultimately, the project will culminate in an exhibition and a book that synthesize artistic and theoretical findings on the evolving nature of language and consciousness.
